Lauren attends Jacksonville State University and is majoring in Psychology. She plans to obtain a Master's degree in Behavioral Analysis with subsequent board certification to work with children. Her academic achievements include the Dean's List (4 semesters), President's List (2 semesters), Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Psi Chi Honor Society, and a Honors program member. She has held many leadership positions including JSU Ambassador (2 years); Member and Property Manager of Alpha Omicron Pi; Alpha Omicron Pi Chapter Representative at Leadership Institute; Kitty Stone Elementary Buddy Program; Sav-a-Life spokesperson and student advocate; Band camp instructor; Freshman Forum; H.S. Key Club Vice President; H.S. Cross Country Captain; H.S. band Section Leader and has already achieved many accomplishments including obtained Registered Behavior Technician license, will achieve bachelor's degree in 3.5 years, full tuition academic scholarship, AOD Federal Credit Union scholarship, Athletic scholarship, All County Cross Country (2 years), All State Honor Band (1 year), District Honor Band (5 years), Band Merit Award (4 years), and Superior solo ratings (20+ ratings - multiple instruments). In keeping her social impact platform, "Lights and Sirens for Autism" she will work to renew interest within the Miss Alabama Organization and Children's Miracle Network to expand support for children with autism.
